To still your mind, sit down each day, close your eyes, and just watch your thoughts.
Don’t resist the thoughts, but just watch them come into your mind.
As you watch each thought, it will disappear.
Practice this each day and you will get better and better.
You will find your mind will be without thoughts for 5 seconds, and then 10 seconds, and then 20.

Action and feeling go together.
I work on being calmer, more balanced, less reactive, more compassionate, more honest with myself, and measurably kind to others every day. When I feel I’ve achieved any of those in a given day, feeling happy is usually the outcome.
Feeling healthy and feeling good about yourself is not a luxury - It's an absolute necessity.
If you keep your eyes on the future, you can’t see the present.
Great passions are for the great of soul, and great events can be seen only by those who are on level with them.
It is by teaching your intellect to become quiet - when you want it to be quiet - that you can become happier, more present for others, and more open to the joy of the present moment.
In order that people may be happy in their work, these three things are needed:
They must be fit for it.
They must not do too much of it.
and they must have a sense of success in it.
I have plenty of time for the things that are important to me.
The important and only vital question is, how much greater, finer, am I than I was yesterday?
Have I fulfilled my possibilities, made the most of my potentialities?
